Our example is a very rare Alfa Romeo GTV Turbodelta, type 116.36D. Manufactured in a batch of 400 for Group 4 homologation, the addition of a turbo radically transformed the already racy behaviour of the famous Alfa 'Bialbero' engine. The result is a fully restored unicorn, recognisable at first glance by its matt black bonnet, side vents and 80s stripes!
Alfa Romeo Turbodelta- Reliable - Very well restored
4-cylinder 2.0L - 150 bhp - KKK turbo engine
5-speed manual gearbox
Grey exterior - Grey cloth interior.
First MEC : 1979
38,500 kms on the clock
Genuine Turbodelta GTV type 116.36D
History: This GTV was delivered to Lucca on 30/11/1979. It is currently in its original "Grigio Chiaro" colour. We have the official document from the Italian Ministry of Transport, which confirms that the car was homologated as "Autodelta 116.36D", homologation number OM19395. This is one of only 400 produced and validated by the factory.
Condition:
Exterior: The bodywork has been completely restored by a specialist workshop. The paintwork was redone 2 years ago. There is no corrosion or traces of impact. The alignments are very good.
Interior: The cloth upholstery has never been restored, and has been perfectly preserved since the car was first put on the road. There is slight wear to the carpets and rugs, as well as a seam on the seat back that should be repaired in the coming months (see photos).
Mechanical: The engine was restored at the same time as the rest of the car. Everything was redone to the highest standards, and an extensive photo file covers every stage of the engine's restoration.
Chassis and underbody: Completely sound and restored
