History: The Porsche 964 Cup was developed to replace the Porsche 944 Turbo Cup in the Porsche Carrera Cup. This model marked the introduction of the 911 into the championship established in 1987. Only 297 units were produced between 1990 and 1993, with few models homologated for road use. Based on the 964 Carrera 2, the 964 Cup features several significant technical differences. It is powered by the M64/03 engine delivering 265 hp, an increase of 15 hp compared to the standard version. For safety and stability, it includes a welded roll cage, bucket seats, and 6-point harnesses. The chassis has been modified with a 55 mm lowered ride height, and it lacks power steering. Porsche also reduced weight by eliminating door panels, sound insulation, and rear seats, achieving a weight of only 1,120 kg.

This particular model is one of the rare road-homologated versions. It arrived in France in 2017 and holds an FFSA technical passport, making it eligible for various historic races such as Masters Endurance Legends, Endurance Racing Legends, Le Mans Classic, and Gulf Classic.

General: Over the past two years, significant mechanical work has been undertaken to present the car in excellent condition today.

Exterior: The bodywork is well-preserved with no deformations. The paint is very attractive, tight, and glossy. The wheels show some scratches but are in good overall condition. Specific aerodynamic mirrors for the model and headlights are in excellent condition.

Interior: The stripped-out cabin is vastly different from a classic 964. The Recaro bucket seats are in very good condition, as is the dashboard and MOMO steering wheel. All gauges, meters, and equipment are operational.

Mechanical: Mechanically, this Porsche 964 Cup is ready to drive or race, according to the owner's preference. The engine delivers its power with a pure sound at high revs. Gear changes are smooth with the renowned G50/10 gearbox, known for its precision and durability. The car's handling is both stable and effective, ensuring excellent road-holding and optimal performance on both road and track.
