History
This Pontiac Trans Am 455 HO, one of 1231 with automatic transmission, assembled in Norwood and delivered new to the USA in 1971, was imported to France by its current owner in 2015. As soon as it arrived, he undertook a complete restoration, including a stripping down of the hull and extensive mechanical work to restore it to its original splendour. An impressive file of documents, photos and invoices testifies to the quality and scope of the work carried out. What's more, the car had already benefited from an initial restoration in the 1990s in the United States, for which invoices from the previous owner are also available, adding continuity to its detailed history.
The car is Matching Number and has a documented PHS (Pontiac History Service).
