1600 cm3 V4 engine - 115 hp - 9 PS

First MEC : 07/1971
Mileage: 5000 km
Chassis number: 818540002192
History :
The 1600 HF is the culmination of the Lancia Fulvia. In addition to its atypical V4 engine, it innovated for its time with its front-wheel drive. Its lightweight design combined with a sharp chassis gave it outstanding rally potential. In this respect, the Fanalone is eligible for the most prestigious historic rallies (Monte Carlo, Tour Auto, Mille Miglia, etc.).
Our example is a genuine Fulvia 1600 HF Fanalone. It's a true-to-customer competition version, never transformed and never restored! Only the paintwork has been redone, along with the original mechanics. The Fanalone-specific code 818540 is clearly visible. This is a reliable car, ready to cover any distance. It was built in 1970. It was delivered to its first owner in 1971 in Italy. It then spent a few years in Spain before arriving in France, where it had two successive owners. Currently, it's in the hands of a careful collector who had the engine rebuilt in early 2022.
Condition:
General: Excellent condition
Exterior: The bodywork is in excellent condition. The paintwork was redone 20 years ago and has stood the test of time. It was an aesthetic surface job. The sheet metal has never been touched. Some discreet wear and tear. The bodywork has never been modified for rallying. The car still features aluminum sashes and Plexiglas rear windows.
Interior: The interior is in good condition and very pleasant to drive, as the car is not arced all the way to the front. This makes it easier to enjoy the Fanalone's interior, which is far more elegant than that of the Fulvia Series 2. Its bucket seats are comfortable.
Mechanical: the original engine was completely restored in 2020. Since then, it has been run in and the car has covered 5,000 km. The mechanics work very well, the engine starts easily, accelerates powerfully and sounds very pleasant. The 5-speed gearbox (with reverse first gear) is very well guided, and the gears synchronize well. Handling is excellent, very stable, thanks to the specific running gear reserved for Fanalones.
Underpinnings: Original, the car has never undergone structural restoration, it remains very sound.
Equipment and accessories :

Circuit breaker
