History
This car, which was sold new in Houston, had two owners on the Atlantic coast of Texas and was imported in the 1980s by an owner who restored it completely.
Conditions
Beautifully presented, with paintwork in excellent condition, this vehicle has been serviced by the current owner and is in perfect working order.
Exterior
The bodywork is in very good condition, the alignments are good, the underpinnings are sound, the chrome is shiny and the original Mercury aluminium wheels look good and are in excellent condition.
Interior
The interior has been completely restored, with new upholstery, headlining and cabin sound insulation. The dashboard has been refurbished and the electrical wiring and air distribution control pipes replaced. The electric bench seat has also been revised.
Mechanical
The engine had a complete overhaul 4000 kms ago and has just had the camshaft, ignition, oil pump and water pump replaced. The alternator is new, the starter motor has been overhauled and the radiator has been restored. The brakes have recently been serviced.
