History: Delivered new to the United States in 1972, this Volvo left California and crossed the Atlantic before arriving in the Netherlands in 2015 with a professional dealer. In the same year, the current owner purchased it and imported it to France.
Condition:
General: This Volvo is in good condition.
Exterior: Painted in British Racing Green, the paint is generally in good condition although there are some signs of aging here and there. In 2020, certain body parts were repainted: doors, sills, and fenders. There is no noticeable color difference. The bodywork of the car is in good condition, as are the headlights and chrome. The rims are well-worn but their edges are in excellent condition.
Interior: Inside, the car is in very good condition. The upholstery was redone a few years ago and remains in very good condition today, although the leather is discolored in some places: passenger door panel, left rear seat. Due to its American origin, the car has rear armrests, which are not present on European versions. Note that the steering wheel was replaced with a smaller one, but the original will be provided at the sale. The dashboard is in very good condition and the instruments on it are functional.
Mechanical: Mechanically, the current owner had electronic fuel injection installed. The engine runs very well, and the gearbox, whose synchronization was revised in 2022, allows for smooth gear changes. The overdrive is also functional. Note that the clutch was recently replaced and the tires are in very good condition.
