FRANCE - Brie-Comte-Robert (77)
History :
The car was delivered new in Italy in early 2005.
It was imported into France in 2010, in Haute Savoie. Its first French owner kept it until 2017. He was a Porsche collector who had the engine rebuilt at Flat-69 after 116,000 km.
It changed hands in 2020, going to a private owner in Lyon who used it very little following a divorce.
The current owner bought it from him in 2024. He undertook significant work (bodywork, tyres, servicing). He has already sold it, as he wants to move towards a British sports car (Jaguar F-Type).
Options and equipment (non-exhaustive list):
Ceramic brakes with yellow callipers
Chrono sports pack
Extended leather
Parking radar
PSM
Semi-electric seats
Bose audio
Cruise control
Condition:
General: This car is in excellent condition overall.
Exterior : The bodywork is very nice, some parts have been repainted to make it as nice as possible. The 997 turbo wheels are in very good condition. The original ones are still available.
Interior: The interior is in very good condition. The extensive leather upholstery adds a very nice finishing touch, as do the many other options available for this 911.
Mechanicals: The flat-6 works perfectly. The engine was rebuilt at Flat-69 at 116,000 km. The original block has been ‘rebuilt’ with cast-iron liners. This will avoid the two common problems with 997 Carrera Ss in the future, namely scratched cylinders and broken IMS. As far as consumables are concerned, everything is in order. The service dates back to May 2024. The rear tyres are new (Michelin PS4 S). Other important work carried out on this 997 includes the clutch, flowmeter, front and rear brake pads, water pump and coils. An optimised stainless steel catalytic converter has also been fitted.
Underpinnings: Structurally, the car is very sound. According to the owner, it has not been involved in any accidents.
