The Beta was the first born of the alliance between Fiat and Lancia in 1969. Replacing the legendary Flaminia and Fulvia, the Beta was available as a coupé, a targa, a hunting station wagon, and even as a mid-engine rear-engine sports car with the montecarlo. The 13° V4 engine was abandoned in favor of Lampredi engines.
Our example is one of the very first Coupés to leave the factory in December 1974. Little-known to the general public, this car is astonishing for its design and dynamism. Equipped with the 108 hp 1600 block, this Beta coupé is presented for sale in excellent condition and still wearing its original paintwork.
Predecessor: Lancia Fulvia
Successor: Lancia Gamma
Good alternative to : Alfa Romeo Alfasud, BMW E21, Peugeot 504
History: Delivered new in Turin in 1974, this Lancia was imported to France in October 2020, and purchased by its current owner in April 2021.
Condition
General: This Lancia Beta is in excellent condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. The car has an extensive history. This first series, equipped with numerous rare options, is still in its original configuration (engine, gearbox, paintwork...).
Exterior: The bodywork is in excellent overall condition. It has survived the years surprisingly well. Chrome, wheels, headlights, glazing and seals are in excellent condition.
Interior: The two-tone brown/ochre velvet upholstery is in very good overall condition. Only the left rear headrest has a slight defect. The fittings, dashboard and woodwork are in excellent condition. All instrumentation is functional.
Mechanical: The engine is in excellent condition. Precise tuning allows full power to be enjoyed, without any suspicious noises. The owner reports that the clutch, gearbox, brakes, steering and suspension are in perfect working order.
