FRANCE - Capbreton (40)
Characteristics:
4-cylinder 2.0 engine - 120 hp - 11 CV
5-speed manual transmission
Exterior Bronze - Interior Off-White
First Registration: 07/09/1978
Mileage: 15,000 km
Chassis number: 137AS0003493
History: This Beta Montecarlo was first delivered in France in 1978. It now belongs to its fourth owner, an experienced classic car collector. He acquired it in 2023 and has undertaken significant work to restore it to the best possible condition. Despite this, he wishes to sell it after a year because he feels a deeper attachment to his British cars!
He has also focused on the mechanical part, which has undergone a major overhaul including the timing.
Condition:
General: This Lancia is in excellent presentation condition.
Exterior: The bodywork is in its original color, generally in very good condition. It was carefully repainted during the previous owner's time. Recently, some bodywork was done to repair the few corrosion points on the sills and the side members, following the best practices, including cutting out the corroded parts and grafting custom-fitted sheet metal, etc.
We note a remarkable point: the 15-inch Abarth wheels, which are quite sought after. The original 13-inch wheels are also available.
Interior: The cabin is in excellent condition. We find beautiful, well-preserved off-white upholstery, a dashboard in very good condition, and lovely camel-colored carpets. The onboard equipment - clock, gauges, and ventilation - are functional.
Mechanical: The powertrain has undergone a thorough overhaul by a garage specializing in classic cars. The timing is up to date, and the consumables are in good condition. The seller indicates that no work is needed.
Underbody: Now that the few corroded areas have been repaired, the car is in excellent structural condition.
