This Facel Vega Excellence EX1, chassis B077, was delivered new to the United States in 1960. It had its first life on the other side of the Atlantic before being repatriated to Europe several decades later. It has full historical documentation tracing its journey. Remaining in excellent original condition, it has benefited from attentive care to preserve all the elegance and prestige of this rare French Grand Tourisme model. A true witness to the golden age of Facel Vega, it is now ready to join a prestigious collection.

Exterior
The bodywork is a magnificent original colour, with the paintwork in very good condition and the bright chrome perfectly aligned. Door, bonnet and hatch adjustments are excellent. The original wheel rims and hubcaps are intact, testifying to the care taken with this exceptional vehicle.
Interior
The interior is of a rare authenticity: original leather upholstery with a very beautiful natural patina, precious woodwork in perfect condition, compliant dashboard with its functional Jaeger instruments. The carpets and upholstery are very well preserved. No modern equipment has been added, in keeping with the luxurious atmosphere desired by Facel Vega at the time. The interior is perfectly in keeping with the prestige of the model.
Mechanical
The Chrysler V8 5.9L engine develops 355 DIN horsepower, offering impressive performance for its time. The engine starts immediately and operates without abnormal vibrations. The automatic gearbox ensures smooth gear changes. Roadholding is impressive, combining power and comfort in keeping with the brand's Grand Touring spirit.
