History
This Corvette was first delivered to a drugstore in the United States in 1971. Following her death, the owner sold it to a Texan who used it little before selling it directly to the current owner, who bought it 4 years ago.
Conditions
This C3 is in excellent condition.
Exterior
The blue paintwork on this Corvette Stingray is tight and in good condition. There are only a few small dents. The convertible roof is in excellent condition, its seals having been replaced. The retractable headlight system is fully functional as you can see on the photos. The wheels are in very good condition, as is the chrome. The windscreen wiper cover deploys well but does not return to its original position.
Interior
The interior doesn't betray the condition of the exterior. The upholstery, door panels and dashboard are in very good condition, with only a hitch in the passenger handle and slightly different blue plastics on the central armrest. The blue carpets look good and all the on-board instrumentation is functional.
Mechanical
The V8 starts right up. It sounds superb. Gear changes are smooth and seamless, as the car was rebuilt in the US prior to purchase. The car's handling is very good and the carburettor was also changed before purchase, the original one being supplied.
