History : This Corvette was first delivered in 1971 in the United States to a chemist. Following her death, the owner sold it to a Texan who used it little before selling it directly to the current owner who acquired it 4 years ago.
Condition :
General: This C3 is in excellent condition.
Exterior: The blue paintwork on this Corvette Stingray is tight and in good condition. There are only a few small dents. The convertible roof is in excellent condition, its seals having been replaced. The retractable headlight system is fully functional as you can see on the photos. The wheels are in very good condition, as is the chrome. The windscreen wiper cover deploys well but does not return to its original position.
Interior: The interior doesn't betray the exterior condition. The upholstery, door panels and dashboard are in very good condition, with only a bump on the passenger door handle and slightly different blue plastics on the central armrest. The blue carpets look good and all the on-board instrumentation is functional.
Powertrain: The V8 engine starts right up. Its sound is superb. Gear changes are smooth and seamless, as the car was rebuilt in the US before purchase. The car's handling is very good and the carburettor was also changed before purchase, the original one being supplied.
Underbody: The underbody of the car is sound and free of corrosion. Pictures are available on request.
