History
This AC Cobra (#CSX 2562) was registered and delivered in the USA in 1964 by Hi Performance Motors in Los Angeles. The car was grey with a red interior and some period options.
The car was rebuilt by Kirkham Cobra in the 2000s and prepared to race in all of today's major classic competitions (Tour Auto, Le Mans Classique etc...).
The car has been driven by Andrew Haddon and John Minshaw at the Goodwood Members Meeting, the Master Races, Zandvoort and Goodwood.

The gearbox and differential made 5 races, the engine only two test sessions after a complete rebuild by Peter Knight in the UK. The car develops 461 bhp at 6,800 rpm and is fitted with an MSD gearbox in accordance with Peter Auto rules.
