This Volkswagen was delivered new to the United States in 1974, then imported into France in 2020. Its owner has owned it since 2021. The owner has carried out a number of works, including an engine rebuild in 2022.

Condition:

General: This Karmann is in beautiful, presentable condition in every respect.

Exterior: The bodywork is generally in good condition. The paintwork has a few minor defects on the wings and doors. The chrome components are in good condition and sparkle. The wheels look good, with no dents or rust pitting.

Interior: The cabin looks very good, with leatherette seats that sit well and have no holes or tears. The dashboard looks very good, as do the carpets. What's more, all the on-board components are functional.

Mechanicals: The engine starts, runs and delivers its power normally. It has recently benefited from restoration work. The gearbox gears are well guided and do not creak. The car brakes normally and its roadholding is very pleasant.

Underpinnings: The underpinnings are very sound and free of corrosion. The floors were redone and treated during 2022. Photos are available on request.
