This example is a fourth hand model delivered new to the USA in 1986. It was imported into France in 2016 and has had two owners since. The car spent a large part of its life in New York, where it was serviced at a Porsche center. As soon as it was imported into Europe, the car was converted into a European version. Period invoices and documents provide a nice traceability on the car's history.

After the spectacular turn under Peter Schutz in the course of the career of the 911 SC – initially designed to conclude the career of the model, then tool of rebirth fortunately implemented from 1981 – Carrera 3.2, which took over in 1984, will brilliantly complete the long course of the «G series». Pushed to 231 hp, the flat-six knows here its ultimate evolution before the entry in modernity with the generation 964 presented in 1988 and the explicit reappearance of the name «Carrera», which the 911 has not abandoned since then, resounds as a heritage claim. Boasting the famous bellows bumpers that attracted a lot of criticism in 1973 before becoming popular gimmicks, the Carrera 3.2 is now a must-have classic of the most famous Porsche.
