The example presented is a 911 2.4 T U.S. version with fuel injection from 1972 in excellent presentation condition. This is a rare version with the oil trap specific to 1972 models. Imported into France in 2017, it has little history and a total quality restoration was carried out between 2021 and 2022. The car's body has been rotisserie-trimmed, and all the mechanics have been rebuilt and made more reliable. Its color has been changed from gray to the mythical Gulf Blue, it is on the other hand matching numbers.
Condition:
General: Excellent visual condition, body and underbody, non-original Gulf Blue tint.
The restoration was carried out between 2021 and 2022 by AUTOLUB and RENAISSANCE AUTO NOSTALGIE.
Exterior: All bodywork is in excellent cosmetic condition. The Gulf paintwork is in superb condition. Wheels are in excellent condition.
Interior: The interior is in superb condition. The upholstery is in like-new condition, as are the carpets and headliner.
Powertrain: The flat-six works and starts perfectly. The revs are crisp and the gearshifts are well guided.
