Overall: This MGB is in excellent condition and has undergone numerous expenses, making it perfectly reliable and sound. An appraisal done at the end of 2021 attests to this.
Exterior: The body of this car was stripped and sandblasted in 2001. Therefore, the bodywork is now in excellent condition, as is the paint, which has been redone to the highest standards. The 14” wheels, chrome, and headlights are in very good condition. The car's soft top has a small tear on the front left side but does not cause any sealing problems. Otherwise, it is well tensioned and in very good condition.
Interior: The interior is in excellent condition. The seats, covered in black leatherette, are in extremely good condition, as is the wooden steering wheel. All the dashboard instrumentation is functional.
Mechanical:
The engine starts right up and runs perfectly, without any overheating issues. It was replaced with a rebuilt unit in 2010 and features a lead-free cylinder head. About 10,000 miles have been driven with the car since then. It is coupled with a fully restored 4-speed manual gearbox from 2000. This gearbox is well guided and allows for smooth gear changes. The car's handling is very solid.
Undercarriage: The undercarriage is sound and free from perforating corrosion. Photos are available upon request.
