History: This Range Rover was delivered in France according to its administrative history. It has been in the same family since 2003. The owner has had extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration work carried out.
Condition :
General: This Range Rover is in very good overall condition.
Exterior : A few years ago, the bodywork was completely redone in its original colour. Some wear and tear has occurred since then, but the car remains very beautiful. The car is fitted with a number of original accessories, including the original bull bar, running boards and tow bar.
Interior: The interior is generally well preserved, with the cloth seats in good condition and a good fit.
Powertrain: The engine is a rebuilt 3.9. The owner still has the original 3.5. The gearbox has been overhauled. It works very well. The suspension has also been rebuilt (silentblocs, Bilstein shock absorbers, etc). The stainless steel line is new. The seller states that there are no costs to be expected.

For some years now, the "Classic" Range Rover has been a... classic. Produced for twenty-six years, it was the true precursor of a category which, in Europe, only really came into its own at the end of the 1990s. Until then, the Englishman had reigned alone in the market segment he himself had created: that of versatile, fast and luxurious off-roaders. On this last point, however, the first models were no match for the amenities of a Jaguar XJ6 sold for more or less the same price, but from 1986 onwards, the Vogue versions, whose equipment was regularly upgraded until the model's demise, enabled the Range to evolve its identity. Without losing any of its cross-country capabilities, the car became an absolutely unclassifiable machine, combining an increasingly plush interior with generous carrying capacity and performance worthy of a good tourer, all housed in a body design that remained unchanged for a quarter of a century. In truth, this car hasn't aged a day!
