Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupé
In-line 6-cylinder engine - 265 hp - 22 PS
4-speed manual gearbox
Navy blue exterior - Havana leather interior
Mileage : 16000
First MEC : 01/07/1964
VIN : 889525
Engine: RA 3917-9 (matching)
In our opinion, this car embodies one of the most desirable E-Types, with its original lines, specific dashboard, bucket seats and the furious behavior of its 3.8L in-line 6. Superb in this configuration, the car is presented in magnificent condition.
Condition:
General: This E-Type is in excellent condition. It was fully restored (body, engine, gearbox, interior) between 2014 and 2015. All invoices are available and detail this work. Today, the car is ready to drive and is in the same condition as when it left the restoration workshop. In all, over a hundred invoices are available.
Exterior: The bodywork is in very good condition. It was completely redone during the restoration: the invoices detail complete dismantling and meticulous bodywork before painting and reassembly (€28,000). The chrome is sparkling, as are the spoked wheels. Overall, there are no major defects.
Interior: The interior of this Type-E is in near-new condition! It was redone in 2015, retaining the originality of the materials. The seats and leathers in general are therefore in very good condition. In 2018, the carpets and trunk mats were changed for a bespoke look.
Mechanical: The original engine was removed, dismantled and completely rebuilt. All appendages were also changed or rebuilt (carburetors, starter motor, alternator, etc.). At the same time, all running gear, braking and steering systems were refurbished.
Underframes: The underframes are very sound and corrosion-free. Photos are available in the google drive folder.

According to the Jaguar Heritage certificate, this car was built in November 1963 and delivered new to Belgium in May 1964 for export by the Belgian Motor Company. In 2000, the Jaguar was imported to Germany and remained in a private collection until 2014, when the previous owner purchased it.
