History: Our example was delivered new to its first owner in Madrid in 1959. The car is an early 1958 model, first registered in 1959. It runs regularly and is maintained in excellent mechanical condition (mechanical spare parts are widely available). This car was featured in Motor Clasico #215 . It comes with its original 1959 registration certificate and a replacement windscreen (a rare item for its design form).
Its current owner has owned it for ten years, and has retraced its entire history. There are 4 owners: the first kept it for two years, the second for nearly 40, the third was featured in the magazine article.
Condition:
General: This Fiat is in good general condition in every respect. Its owner uses and maintains it regularly.
Exterior: The paintwork is bright and shiny. We note some light scratches on the trunk. The white-painted wheels and hubcaps are in very good condition. The windscreen has a nice crack, but a new one is supplied for sale. The chrome bumpers are in very good condition, as are the headlights. Apart from a slight side tear, the soft top, trimmed with chrome trim, is very attractive.
Interior: The cabin has a good aesthetic appearance. The swivel velvet seats provide good support and are neither torn nor ripped. The dashboard and gauges are well-preserved, with the passenger side dashboard trim recently redone. The rubber floor mats and trunk carpet are in good condition. Additionally, all instruments on board are functional
Mechanical: The 4-cylinder engine, with its aluminum cylinder heads, runs, starts and delivers its power correctly. Gears are well guided and precise. Braking and suspension elements are good.
Underpinnings : The underpinnings are sound. Photos are available on request.
Options and equipment (non-exhaustive list):
Nardi wood steering wheel
Swivel seats
Wooden gear knob
Two exterior mirrors
White wheels with chrome nut covers
Documents :
Spanish registration certificate
Invoices
1959 vintage registration certificate
Technical inspection
Internal reference: AM3183
