FRANCE - Vauvenargues (13)
This car was delivered new to Monaco in 2008. It is now in the hands of its second owner, who acquired it and converted it to French registration in 2017. It has been regularly serviced only in Aston Martin centers or specialists.
Condition: This iconic Aston Martin is in excellent condition.
Exterior: The bodywork is beautifully preserved, although a few points, notably on the lower part of the front bumper, could use a little touching up to make it even more beautiful, as could the two front wheels. The black paintwork perfectly emphasizes the car's lines, while conveying its character, discretion and James Bond-like chic. Chrome, lights and windows are in excellent condition.
Interior: The leather upholstery, which extends from the rear window to the dashboard, offers excellent presentation and conveys the superb character of the interior. The driver's seat shows a slight patina, particularly on the left flank, without detracting from the overall spirit. The DB9's beige alcantara roof lining is very attractive and bright. All on-board equipment is functional, including the mythical clock that sits proudly in the center of the dashboard.
Powertrain: The V12 starts perfectly, revs well and delivers all its power. Its bewitching sound is particularly pleasant to drive. The automatic gearbox works perfectly.

While the DB7 was derived from an ex-Jaguar project and built on an XJS base, its successor started from scratch. Thus, based on an entirely new platform and a space frame structure, the DB9 is largely made of aluminum, and its design, by Henrik Fisker, still hasn't found time to age, twenty years after its appearance. The convertible version, traditionally known as the Volante, dates from 2004 and features the V12 already seen in the coupé. Inaugurated in 1999 with the DB7 Vantage, this engine was Aston Martin's pride and joy for almost a quarter of a century; in the original DB9, its 450 hp already enabled it to reach speeds of up to 300 km/h. Just as capable of rivalling the lap times of a Porsche 911 as of seducing a Bentley Continental GTC driver, the car embodies the quintessence of contemporary grand touring.
