This Berlinette left the Dieppe factory in 1975 before being delivered to its first owner in France. A report indicates that the car has had three owners since 2006. Our example features a classic Alpine configuration, with blue paint and black interior. Equipped with an original V85 engine, this Alpine has undergone extensive mechanical restoration work. All invoices and a detailed appraisal are available on file.
The car is in very good condition, with the original blue paintwork, according to the owner, showing very well, despite some traces of gravelling on the wings.
The black bucket seats are in very good condition, as are the carpets. Two Heuer chronometers are present on the leather dashboard.
The entire mechanical system was professionally rebuilt in 2015 (approximately 20,000 euros of invoices are on file). The gearbox was rebuilt at the same time, and all the transmission housings were sandblasted, repainted and reassembled in new condition. All front and rear running gear, brakes and suspension parts are in as-new condition. The body and chassis are very sound.
This Alpine is today equipped with a Devil exhaust manifold and silencer, and a half roll bar.

In 1975, the legendary Berlinette, backed up by the A310 four years earlier, continued to hold its own at the Dieppe plant, after thirteen years in the catalog and one of the most impressive track records in French motoring history, crowned by a World Rally Championship title in 1973. Of course, by then the car had reached the end of its development, and so the range was gradually slimmed down over the years, but the V85 we're talking about here, launched in 1970, was produced practically until the model's demise. Powered by the Renault "Cléon-fonte" engine with a displacement of 1289 cm3 and 81 hp, this is the entry-level model in the Alpine range, but given the light weight of the unit, the power-to-weight ratio proves conducive to the joys of real driving. A machine that's just as ideal for weekend jaunts as it is for historic events!
