History: This Porsche 914 was delivered new to the USA in 1971. The current owner had it imported in 2017. Since then, the owner has had the car completely restored. Thus, the bodywork as well as the engine, a 2.0, have been completely redone. Photos of the restoration are available. This car was appraised at €40,000 in 2024.
Condition:
General: The car is in excellent condition.
Exterior: The bodywork of this 914 has been completely restored. The yellow paintwork is of good quality, with no defects. The bumpers are in good condition, as are the rubber strips. The targa roof is also in very good condition. The various extensions, bodywork trims and lettering are in very good condition. The baby fuch rims are new.
Interior: The interior is also in very good condition. The black leatherette upholstery is in good condition, with no signs of wear. The black carpets are new, as are the door entry seals. All on-board instrumentation is fully functional. The instrumentation is in good condition, as are the windows.
Powertrain: Under the hood, the original 1.7 has been replaced by a 2.0. The powertrain starts and runs well. No smoke emanates from the cold exhaust, and no suspicious noises were detected during the inspection. As for the running gear, the front and rear discs and brake pads are new. The shock absorbers are new, as are the tires. The car is fitted with a new Dansk silencer.
