History: This Mini Cooper was delivered new to France in 1992, and the third and current owner acquired it in 2012. The latter has an extensive invoice file, moreover, a technical inspection carried out in September proved favorable, confirming the car's good working order.
Condition:
General: This Mini Cooper presents a beautiful state of preservation.
Exterior: The bodywork is in good condition, and the well-preserved black paintwork could be restored to its original glory with a good detailing. The chrome elements have been well preserved overall, although a slight dent is visible on the rear bumper. The white-painted roof creates a nice contrast with the dark bodywork. The original rubbers show signs of wear and could benefit from restoration. The headlights are in excellent condition, as are the emblematic 12-inch Minilite wheels, despite a few traces of wear and the absence of two center nuts.
Interior: Overall, the interior has been well preserved. The seats, in a combination of leather and fabric, are in very good condition, and the burgundy piping is still well stitched and matches the upholstery. The upholstery is in generally good condition, and like the car itself, entirely original. The dashboard and instruments are in good condition and fully functional.
Powertrain: The in-line 4-cylinder engine starts perfectly. The 4-speed manual gearbox ensures smooth, seamless gear changes. Roadholding is very good.
Underpinnings: The car's underpinnings are sound, despite some surface corrosion. Photos are available on request.
