It was in 2011 that McLaren, almost twenty years after the presentation of the fantastical F1, made its return to the road car market - but this time on a permanent basis and with quite different industrial and commercial ambitions. As such, the early MP4-12C disappeared fairly quickly, but the basic concept has survived to the present day, giving rise to a very wide range of variants. Today, the Woking-based company's catalog is divided into three categories, and the 600LT (for Long Tail), derived from the 570S, belongs to the "Sports Series" - which, as the name suggests, groups together the most powerful and fastest models in the range. The car's name is a clear statement of its power: the in-house V8 delivers performance worthy of the best supercars!
