The Maserati Ghibli was produced in 1,170 examples from 1966 to 1973. A direct competitor to the prestigious Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Miura, the Maserati Ghibli is “an aesthetic masterpiece of power and suppleness”. The body design is the work of Giorgetto Giugiaro, on behalf of Ghia. Our model, equipped with the 4.7 engine, develops 330 hp.
Delivered new on April 20, 1969 to the garage Thepenier in Paris, this Ghibli was sold in September 1969 to Baron De Zuylen and spent its entire life in France. It has matching numbers (chassis 115*884*) and colors. Purchased in 2014 by the current owner from a marque specialist, the car is in good overall condition.
Restored 20 years ago, this Ghibli boasts a beautiful patina, sound underpinnings and an absence of corrosion. The paintwork is in good condition and could do with a little attention. The Webers carburetors have been overhauled, the interior carpets are new, as is the engine insulation.
The car is used regularly and everything works normally: the car has full power, the running gear and damping are sound, and braking is enduring.
It's worth noting that the CT and a service have been carried out for the sale, and that this Ghibli is sold with a 12-month CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty.
Ideally priced, this is an opportunity to acquire one of the finest Italian GTs of the 60s and 70s.
Visible in Paris (75).
12-month mechanical warranty included, valid at the dealer of your choice (extension available on request).
