This particular model was imported from Los Angeles in a wrecked state over 10 years ago by its current owner. The owner then undertook a complete restoration, restoring it to its former glory. The car is matching numbers and matching colors.
Condition:
Overall: This Jaguar MK2 is in excellent condition.
Exterior: At the level of a concours restoration, the bodywork of this MKII presents very well. The Primrose Yellow paint, partially original, is in excellent condition. The restored chrome and wire wheels are also in very good overall condition.
Interior: The cabin presents very well. The red leather and beige canvas headliner are in perfect condition, well-stretched, and pair perfectly with the original and restored elm burl woodwork on the dashboard and doors. The seats are very comfortable, free of holes and tears. All the dashboard instruments function perfectly, including the clock.
Mechanics: The original 6-cylinder engine, having benefited from a restart, starts immediately and runs smoothly. The gearbox offers smooth gear changes, and the overdrive is functional. The factory Coventry plate in the engine compartment is still visible.
