This Honda was probably delivered new in France. The current owner recovered the car from a scrapyard in 1989, and it was not in any way damaged. He kept it in his garage for 23 years before carrying out a complete restoration between 2012 and 2019. Originally purchased in red, he discovered the original shade (current yellow) as the restoration progressed.

Condition:

General: This S800 is in very good overall condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. All restoration invoices are available, and period photos are on file.

Exterior: The bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condition. The paintwork has a beautiful sheen, and the chromes are sparkling (recently professionally rechromed). Rims are in excellent condition. Headlights, windows and bumpers are in very good condition.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition, having been redone in accordance with the original. Seats are comfortable, with no holes or tears. Upholstery and carpets are in excellent condition, as is the dashboard. All on-board instrumentation is functional.

Mechanical: The restored engine runs and starts normally. The car is regularly serviced, and was recently serviced. The engine revs well and the gearbox shifts smoothly. The S800's roadholding is healthy and reassuring.

Chassis and underpinnings: The chassis and frame of this Honda are sound. Photos are available on request.
