Estimated value: €77,000 - €83,000
This BMW M3 GT E36 was delivered on June 16, 1995, by BMW in Berlin, after being prepared by AC Schnitzer at the request of the first owner. It is one of the rare BMW M3 GT E36s prepared by AC Schnitzer known in Europe and the car is in superb original condition.
Currently on French papers, the car has 126,000 km from new and has had 4 owners since 1995. This M3 GT is totally specific and features:
- 4 reinforced AC Schnitzer wheels,
- a specific interior with more carbon,
- a specific gear shift lever,
- a specific pedal set,
- the running gear, axle ratios, engine power, and intake have been revised by AC Schnitzer,
- the car is equipped with stiffer shock absorbers (everything is in accordance with the original and with the AC Schnitzer preparation from 1995).
The car has its original service book with all stamps, a file of invoices since 2003, and its complete tool kit. The car has just undergone a complete interior and exterior overhaul. A major service was performed for the sale including Vanos control and a complete engine check (oil change, new spark plugs, etc...).

By 1995, the M3 E36 had already been around for 3 years. Only three years to start worrying the big names in the class, Porsche and Ferrari for example, whose entry-level models were seriously threatened by this high-performance, easy-to-drive (in comparison), rewarding 4-seater M3. Next to it, the more expensive Porsche 968, no more sporty despite the aura of its badge, was a pale shadow, while the brutal, hard-to-drive Ferrari 348 suffered from the comparison until it was replaced by a much more convincing F355, though less affordable than the M3. In short, at the time, the M3 put everyone in agreement, even forcing rival Mercedes to choose a niche other than pure sportiness for its C36 AMG. The GT was born for the homologation needs of the M3 GTR in the FIA and IMSA GT championships, adopting a number of modifications as standard. Apart from the spoiler, the GT differs from a traditional M3 in its all-white headlamps (which would not arrive until 1996 on the M3 3.2), and its specific (and unique) British Racing Green paintwork.

When a bidder activates automatic bidding, they set a maximum amount they are willing to pay for the car. The system then automatically places bids on their behalf to outbid other bidders until the maximum amount is reached. It may also happen to adjust a low bid or to ensure that their bid exceeds others.
