This Bentley Mark VI is the right version of the model, with its 160bhp 'big bore' engine and low-slung aluminium body made by HJ Mulliner. Despite its imposing size, the lightness due to the aluminium and a lively, torquey engine make this Bentley a versatile car, whether on small roads or mountain passes.
Bentley Mark 6
Engine: 4 1⁄2 litre (4.6 L) of 4566 cm3
4-speed manual gearbox
Black and burgundy exterior colour - Brown leather interior
First MEC: 20/05/1952
History :
Purchased by its current owner in 1991 from Franck Dale. At the end of the 60's, the car was painted in psychedelic style, a photo shows it with pink scrolls painted on the rear wings. For 30 years, the car has been scrupulously maintained by Marc Sauzeau, a French Bentley and Rolls Royce specialist.
Here's what we've learned from our examination of the car:
- Chassis, bodywork, mechanics and upholstery in excellent condition.
- Compression intake OK in 2013.
- The bodywork is in very good condition, the varnish is bright and there are only a few signs of wear and tear (the paintwork is 30 years old but still very well preserved),
- The upholstery is in excellent condition.
- The mechanics are in very good condition despite some slight play in the steering.
Documents :
- Registration document,
- Valid MOT,
- Purchase invoice (1991),
- Maintenance invoices,
Visible towards Dijon.
6-month mechanical warranty included (can be extended on request).
Financing available.
